World of Sport, Oh my god, that is a blast from the past.

ITV is 50-years-old, this year, so their dusting
off all sorts of old tapes. In a public poll,
Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks (on World of Sport)
came about 20-odd in a Top 50 ITV progs of all
time. Naturally, Coronation St. won it.
Disappointingly, The Professionals came nowhere.
Ditto, The New Avengers. I was only about 7, but
Purdey was my first crush, the bastards.

Purdy was hot man, going back to World of Sport Dickie Davies was the man. Closely rivalled by BBC's Frank Bough on Grandstand.
